Today's lifestyle consumes vast amounts of electricity for an ever growing number of household appliances and gadgets. These products are invariably left on standby. A recent survey by the Energy Saving Trust found that almost 750 million pounds worth of energy was wasted by equipment left ticking over and that the average household has up to 12 gadgets left on standby or charging at any one time. The IntelliPlug™ and IntelliPanel™ dramatically cuts electricity usage on consumer electronics. The user simply plugs the peripherals - e.g. scanners, printers, games consoles, speakers etc into the IntelliPlug or IntelliPanel - which then takes over. They will automatically determine the on/off power level of any desktop computer, hi-fi, audio visual amplifier or television to automatically switch power to peripheral equipment only when in use.
