Rutland Loppers
The bypass lopper is designed for cutting live (green) wood or stems. The cutting blade of the lopper passes a counterblade in a scissor bypass action. The pivot point of the Rutland lopper is slightly offset from the centre line of cutting; this creates a slicing action during cutting, which greatly reduces the effort required when pruning live wood and spreads wear over the full length of the blade.
