Using the Cromwell Store

From the Home page on the Cromwell web site you can browse 60,000+ top quality, branded products at our latest offer prices. All the products shown on the website are taken from our current literature.

Main Categories

The catalogue content index on the left hand side of the screen shows the main category headings. By clicking on your chosen category you can drill down through the sub-category lists to identify the exact product you are looking for.

Searching the Catalogue

You can alternatively view the catalogue by using the simple text search box at the top left of the screen, or by clicking on the Advanced Search link. When utilising the Advanced Search facility you are able to reduce the number of results by entering more search criteria.

How to shop with Cromwell

This service is only available for delivery in the UK Mainland only.

On the Search Result pages the number of products within that selection is shown at the top of the page. You can determine how many results you want to see per page by using the drop down box, top centre. You are able to sort by product code, description or price from the drop down box, top left. VAT can also be included/excluded from the displayed prices using the drop down box at the top right.

Click on the button to show further product details.

Click on the button to place the product in your shopping basket.

At any time during your shopping experience you can click on the button (top navigation bar) to view the products that you have added to your shopping basket. You are able to amend quantities or remove products, then click on the button to display your changes. When you have completed your order click on the button.

On the Checkout page you can check your order total. To submit your order to Cromwell you will now need to fill in your Cardholder/Invoice Address and Delivery Address details in the boxes provided. Then click on the button which will take you to the Order Details page.

Check your details, then click on the button.

On the Payment Options page choose either , or to submit your order.

Click on if you have an account at a Cromwell branch, even if you want to pay by credit card - the branch office will then contact you to obtain your card details.

Click on if you would like to pay by credit/debit card. All credit/debit transactions are processed through WorldPay.

Click on if you want to place an order, but would prefer not to enter your card details via the web site. We can then call you back to take your card details.

The WorldPay Payment Solution is a secure encrypted payment facility, which Cromwell connects to. It operates a 5 day deferred payment system whereby your encrypted credit/debit card details are held for completing the transaction on the day of despatch. If any of your ordered items are not going to be available for despatch within 5 days, we may have to contact you again for your credit/debit card details to complete your order transaction.

For your information: On the Card payment screen within WorldPay you will be asked for the card security code. The card security code is a unique three digit number printed on your debit/credit card. The number is not embossed on the card so that it cannot be printed on receipts - making it difficult for anyone other than the genuine cardholder to know it. This is an additional security measure.

When your order has been submitted the final page will show your order number. Please make a note of this order number or alternatively print the page for your reference.
Shortly after submitting your order, you will receive an order confirmation via email. If any items are out of stock we will telephone you to advise availability, as soon as possible after receipt (during office hours Mon - Thurs 8am-4.30pm and Fri 8am-3.30pm UK time).
