In August 2009, Cromwell carried on from last year’s success by retaining the “East Midlands in Bloom” Silver Gilt Award for “Best Retail/Commercial Premises”.
An outstanding achievement yet again. Congratulations to Alan Wicks and the Wigston HQ service team for the outstanding work they do to keep the Cromwell Wigston site in such good order, a special mention too for resident gardener Trevor Harvey for all his hard work in helping to achieve these awards.
Cromwell also received a Gold Award in the Oadby and Wigston Borough Council “Floral Display Competition” again in the “Best Retail/Commercial” category, a tremendous achievement for all concerned and one to be extremely proud of. This year’s standard was very high, making the judge’s decision very hard. Cromwell received
a Certificate and was also thanked for making a significant contribution to improving the borough of Oadby and Wigston.
