Welcome to our latest addition to the Cromwell branch network in the North West of the country. Cromwell Carlisle branch officially opened for business on the 4th of January 2010, in a newly refurbished 6000 sq ft building at 11 Millbrook Road, Kingstown Industrial Estate. The estate is the largest in the area and currently provides employment to over 2000 people.

We must say a very big “thank you” to the major effort by Bernie Easby and his staff throughout December 2009, with a special thank you also to Helen Baird, James Pattison, James Smith, Brian Purves and Phil Irvine from Cromwell Glasgow’s Bellshill branch, who assisted Bernie in the run up to Christmas to achieve the opening deadline.

We have an experienced Cromwellian in Bernie at the helm as the Branch Manager, he will work in conjunction with Chris Speight (Van Sales) supported by three newcomers to the fold, Kevin Brown (Telesales) who brings a wealth of experience from a major distributor of PPE consumables and Paul Mitchell (Telesales) who brings a vast experience of the construction and hire tool markets and last but by no means least we have Jonathan Lee our Driver/Warehouse man.

We would like to wish the staff the very best of luck in this new venture, we are confident that over time Cromwell Carlisle will become yet another Cromwell success story.

We would like to offer a warm welcome to our newest Scottish branch Cromwell Hillington.

The move over the weekend of the 28th/29th of November 2009, heralded a new era for the former staff of Apex head office in Elliot Street in Glasgow, when they finally moved into the refitted Cromwell Hillington premises at 9a Carlyle Avenue, Hillington Park Industrial Estate, Glasgow on the weekend of the 28th of November 2009.

Thank you for the efforts of all staff during the move while continuing with the day to day aspects of running the branch at Elliot Street and thanks yet again to the staff at Cromwell Glasgow's Bellshill branch and also the staff at Cromwell Fife branch who helped with the move during the weekend.

This key location will now provide the opportunity to trade with one of Glasgow’s largest Industrial Estates, which employs in excess of 3000 employees within approx 269 companies.

The new Cromwell branch is located on the western side of Glasgow which is the best location to support efficiently the untapped business areas of Paisley, Glasgow West and Ayrshire.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all the staff the very best of luck for the future, as this new branch adds yet another string to the ever increasing Cromwell bow.
