- Never carry a power tool by the power lead or hose.
- Disconnect tools when not in use, before servicing, and when changing
accessories such as blades, bits and cutters.
- Do not attempt to service machine unless qualified to do so.
- Secure the workpiece with clamps or a vice, allowing both hands
to be free to operate the tool.
- Do not clamp the machine body in a vice.
- Power tools should be regularly maintained. Always follow the user's
instruction manual for lubrication and changing of accessories.
- Do not wear loose clothing, ties or jewellery when using power tools.
- Always wear eye and face protection, protective clothing and safety shoes.
- Proper, effective hearing protection should be worn when working
with noisy tools such as power hammers and breaking tools.
- Do not use machine a without guards supplied.
- Do not use a power tool for work beyond its prescribed capability.
- Check that speed of abrasive wheel is compatible with the machine speed.
