Dictionary Definition:
A device used to apply force so as to cause or tend to cause motion toward the source of the applied force.
While using pullers the following safety rules should be adhered to.
- Never use pullers that have been modified in any way.
- Never exceed the advised capacities with regard to the spread and reach of the puller, or the max. torque and load.
- Keep the puller spindle clean and oiled.
- Always stand to the side of the puller, not directly behind it.
