The role
- Providing 2nd line support to users, both over the phone and in person, in the Companies business system and other supported applications.
- The maintenance of system data, including imports and extracts.
- The reporting on and basic analysis of system data.
- The running of system macros as scheduled.
- Some out of hours support may be required.
- Early shift and Saturday cover required, on a rota basis.

- You will be a fast learner, with the ability to understand new processes and procedures.
- You will be a good team player and able to work with others towards common objectives and deadlines.
- You will have a flexible approach to your work, and be able to work on different types of tasks.
Essential skills:
- Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone.
- A good level of computer literacy.
- A good level of literacy and numeracy.
- Some experience using spreadsheet programs (e.g. MS Excel).
Desirable skills:
- Experience of using database programs (e.g. MS Access), and building basic queries.
- Experience of business/point of sale systems.
- Experience of report writing, and producing written documentation.
- Basic UNIX/LINUX.
