Cromwell Vacancies - Metrology Repair Engineer

Working with our UKAS accredited Laboratory this role will involve the cleaning and preparation of instruments and gauges for calibration.  

You will be responsible for the repair and service of precision engineering measuring equipment including:

• Vernier calipers
• Micrometers of various types
• Height gauges
• Spirit levels
• Torque wrenches etc.

The ideal canidate will be a practical person with good manual dexterity, as well as meticulous and conscientious with a good eye for detail.

Some engineering, fitting or modelmaking experience would be an advantage but not mandatory as training would be given to persons demonstrating an aptitude for the work.

Ultimately, you will need to be able to work under your own initiative and as a team member.
