We have an extensive industrial supplies product range that includes Hand Tools, Cutting Tools, Power Tools, Abrasives, Measuring Equipment, Personal Protection, Welding and Office Supplies.

The Opportunity:

Cromwell has a fantastic opportunity for somebody to join our team as an Internal Sales / Contract Support capacity.

Using your excellent customer service skills, you will support the branch by processing orders over the telephone, striving to up-sell and increase customer spend, progress orders and proactively generating new sales by introducing Cromwell to new companies by outbound telephone calls.

 Main duties will include:

• Processing enquiries & orders, primarily received over the telephone but also through written and email correspondence
• Generating sales and pro-actively seeking new business
• Administration of local contracts and consignment agreements
• Supporting all aspects of the general running of the branch

Key Skills:

• Knowledge of Engineering or a Technical background would be highly advantageous
• It is essential that you have previous telephone based sales or customer service experience
• You must be able to demonstrate excellent rapport building and communication skills
• You will be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
• You will be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
