Choosing The Right Level
Spirit Levels
Spirit levels, also known as bubble levels, are an essential tool for hobbyists, DIYers and professionals alike for determining horizontal and vertical levels. - Accuracy & Precision: Spirit levels are great for being portable, handy, and usually a lot cheaper than digital or laser levels, but this comes at the cost of complete accuracy. Most spirit levels have a measurement accuracy of 0.05mm/m which is great for general and professional use, but not as accurate as digital or laser levels. You should determine between price efficiency and measurement accuracy when choosing levels.
- Length & Size: Spirit levels come in various lengths, ranging from small pocket-sized levels to longer levels suitable for larger projects. You should consider the typical tasks you'll be performing to select a spirit level of suitable level.
