Used for drilling, plunging, pocketing, profiling and slotting. A good general purpose cutter, mostly used to produce a hole then open it out to a pocket or closed slot. Uses a square insert with a special corner facet to cut on centre. The outer insert compliments the inner one to cut full diameter.
