These Sifsteel Stainless 316L welding rods are ideal as a low carbon austenitic filler rod for welding steels of similar composition (19% Cr, 12% Ni, 3% Mo). Designed for use with argon shielding gas or argon/5% hydrogen, the product is corrosion resistant for welding molybdenum bearing austenitic stainless steels and can be used for a variety of applications across industries including fabricating pipes and plates. Available in a range of sizes, all products are designed for applications where service temperatures do not exceed 400°C.
