Markel Paint Markers are custom designed for a wide range of cold to hot applications. Available in five types.
Type B: All-purpose cold surface marker which has the widest spread of applications. Timber, brick, metal surfaces and rubber.
Temp marking range -45°C to 65°C.
Type H: Yellow, Blue or Red hot surface marker for applications like colour coding foundry rises and runners and non-ferrous metals whilst hot, coils, billets, bars, ingots etc.
Temp marking range 65°C to 650°C.
Type K: White - marks extremely hot rough surfaces, castings, forgings, ingots, billets without burning or running off.
Temp marking range 760°C to 1200°C.
Type P: White - for marking steel prior to galvanising process. Marks are completely removed in the pickling bath and will not interfere with galvanising process.
Temp marking range -45°C to 65°C.
Type HT: Red - hot metal surfaces eg steel blooms, bars, coils of strip etc. The mark is highly visible on metals, castings, coils etc. it must be stored outside.
Temp marking range 120°C to 870°C.
HT-34 White Paintstik hot surface solid paint marker writes on red-hot steel surfaces from 400°F to 1800°F (204°C to 982°C) such as coils, billets, slabs, bars and ingots. Long-lasting, weather- and fade-resistant paint provides bright, identifiable white marks in steel production.
Available in blue, black, brown, green, orange, pink, purple, red, white and yellow.
