Delivery Information

We guarantee next-day delivery for all stocked products ordered as follows:

Online Orders

Order before 5pm, Monday to Thursday and before 3:30pm, Friday.

Telephone and Email Orders

Order before 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday and before 3:30pm, Friday.

During Bank Holidays please allow 1 additional day for despatch. Please visit this page for updates to delivery dates and Customer Services’ opening hours over holiday periods.

Delivery Costs

Orders over £25 (excl. VAT) placed using a Trade Account through Cromwell.co.uk are delivered free of charge.

There is a £4.99 (incl. VAT) fee applied in the below circumstances:

• Trade Account orders placed via Cromwell.co.uk below £25 (excl. VAT).
• Trade Account orders placed via telephone or email below £40 (excl. VAT).
• Non-Trade account orders placed by any method for below £40 (excl. VAT).

Shipping your order

Over 85% of parcels are delivered by our Cromwell Customer Envoys in our own branded fleet , who will deliver if you’re located within 15 miles of our branches.

All other deliveries are despatched via a contracted carrier in our network of nationwide partners, who will require a signature as proof of delivery. If nobody is available, a calling card will be left advising if a further attempt will be made or giving details of the carrier’s local depot in order for you make alternative arrangements.

Hazardous Goods

Hazardous goods must be prepared and distributed in accordance with transport regulations. The regulations depend on the product(s) / quantities and safety information. Some products may need to be shipped direct or require additional transportation routes and costs. Hazardous goods include:

• Corrosive substances
• Explosives
• Flammable gas
• Flammable liquid
• Flammable solid
• Lithium batteries
• Miscellaneous dangerous goods
• Non-flammable non-toxic gas
• Organic peroxides
• Oxidizers
• Radioactive material
• Toxic substances
• Marine pollutants and environmentally hazardous substances
• Substances liable to spontaneously combust

Orders for hazardous goods are subject to longer delivery timescales. Please expect hazardous goods orders to arrive within 48 – 72 hours – this is to ensure safe transportation of your items.
