Ejendals was founded in 1949 by Valfrid Ejendal in Leksand, Sweden due to rising interest in work gloves. During the 70’s Ejendals began making safety boots, working closely with Finnish company Urho Viljanmaa OY, who produced safety shoes under the name JALAS®. Eventually Ejendals acquired the company in 2008, changing into the Ejandals group. Ejendals has two sub-brands which constitute for most of their product offering. TEGERA® is their range of hand protection and arm protection, whilst JALAS® is their range of safety footwear ranging from insoles to safety trainers.
Ejendals’ safety products are the result of comprehensive material knowledge, research collaborations and product development leading to their products remaining on the cutting edge of innovative safety products. Ejendals’ labs ensure that all TEGERA® and JALAS® products maintain the highest quality and develop in alignment with our customers’ needs.
