Why rotary drills?

Rotary drill types

There are 2 different types of rotary drills. It is important to choose the right drill for your personal preference and the job that would be required.

Rotary keyed drill - They are engineered to loosen or tighten the hold on a tool by using a key. The keyed drills are ideal for heavy-duty tasks.

Rotary keyless drill - Are designed to quickly loosen and tighten a tool on the chuck collar of the drill. This can be done by manual operation or when a torque is applied.


What's the difference between a hammer drill and a rotary drill?
Hammer drills vibrate into the surface whereas rotary drills pound away with more force. As rotary drills aim to drill through harder materials and tend to be more powerful and offer more speed than the average drill.
